I just tried chai for the first time this past week at Borders Books, a chain of large bookstores in the USA. They use Oregon Chai, which is apparently a sweeter chai than the traditional stuff. I'm hooked! I decided to try it on a whim, and wasn't sure I'd like it, but it was amazingly good. I can hardly wait to try it again. I like coffee, and I like tea, but chai is just one of those drinks that you treat yourself to. You can't rush while drinking chai. It's a sit-down-with-your-friends, take-your-time-and-sip-it kinda drink. |
